Unfortunately Mike Bobbie couldn't attended our Swap Shop this year. Instead he was in Florida where he entered the "International Control Line Flying Fish Championships"! Contestants are required to fly a predefined set of maneuvers. Model size is limited to 30 inches in length. Mike's entry appears to be a 1/2A model.

Pat's latest creation "Stunter 131", full fuselage version. OS .35 FPS Stuka stunt engine. Brodak dope and automotive 2 part clear.

How 'bout that shade of green?

Stunter 131 getting it's clear sprayed on. This is Pat's nieghbor Keith Kampfer. He's been trying to talk Pat into using auto paint. For a 12 pack he supplied the paint & did the spraying. It became an easy desicion to try auto clear.

Jim and his Vigor.

Jim at the controls of the Vigor. Jim estimates that over the winter he spent 60+ hours in front of his computer learning to fly on his heli simulator, and it shows! This photo was taken during his SECOND flight and he's got it under total control. That's nothing short of AMAZING! Without the sim most people would take 2-3 months to get to this point! Great job, Jim!!!
