Skylarks of Sharon- August Meeting

The meeting was held at the club flying field.

The meeting was called to order at 6:30 PM.

Meeting Minutes:

Our next Fun Fly for 2012 will be the last week end of July. We will still have the $10 landing fee. Also there will be a can for donations for soda and water if the person wants to donate. We have lots of time to work out any final decisions.

Gene Leyshon mentioned that he does not want to be the R/C instructor any more, but will remain the Safety person. The club is looking for a new R/C instructor. Any one wishing to do that please contact Gordon Longstreet with information.

Andy made a motion to have a sign at the beginning of the street leading to the field next summer. Bob Crusan seconded the motion. Ralph will make the sign for payment. Info has to be gained from officials as per size, location, etc. It passed, 9 yes 0 no. More discussion on this subject during the next meeting.

Note: This was the largest number of members attending for a long time and was great.

Meeting was adjourned at 7:15 PM.

The next meeting will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at the flying field in Transfer.
